Geometry 2.4.2 is an application which was designed for math teachers to easily calculate the volume and surface area of common geometric figures.  This software is distributed as freeware.  I am not responsible for any damage that this program does to your system.  I have tested this software on several machines using Mac OS 7.6 and higher :  however,  you are using this at your own risk. I am new to designing software with a graphical user interface.  I am sure that this program is not perfect.  You may edit the program or provide it to anyone who may find it useful.  This software was designed using RealBasic Version 2.

I must give special thanks to Joe Fields for his input on some of the source code that was used in the software.  I must also thank Leslie Hash for her input in creating algorithms for finding surface area and volume.  The logo for Geometry 1.0 was designed by Kelly Strohmeyer.  Special Thanks to Mike Wysocki for his input in developing algorithms for metric/standard conversions.  I also need to thank Tom Erwin (Author of TrackAddicti1.2) for the source code for using Disclosure Triangles.

Special thanks to Cariappa Annaiah for his suggestion to add the Command-W command and for linking my URL to the default browser.  Great appreciation goes to William Smith whose comprehensive test of Geometry 1.0 uncovered a mistake that was overlooked in calculating the area of a circle.  Also, as of Version 1.1 -  all use of 22/7 for Pi shall stop.  I promise.  Thanks for the alternatives.  I have to thank Gavin Shapiro for his algorithm for finding the number of diagonals of a regular polygon.
